I have the 17x17 and do use it on my ironing...

I have the 17x17 and do use it on my ironing board and works just fine. I like using my clapper, too. The two are a great combination.

Use seam tape on the sweater seams to avoid unraveling. tape, not hem tape or bias tape. It's white and lightweight. I've had good luck using it. Good Luck with the Teddy Bear.
