I use 2 Tbsp Vodka, 1 cup distilled water, and a little unscented fabric softener. If you like the smell use a scented one. I'm generally making a lot so about 1/2 cup softener to a quart. Totally up...

I have a Fire Extinguisher easily accessible from every room in my house. Even my youngest grandchild knows how to use one. The fire dept showed him how and taught him how to exit the house safely....

I cut mine up and made a quilt for my sister. She has my parent's bedroom set. I would need to look for the picture. I did have to line all of the fabric with interfacing. Pretty loose weave.

I absolutely love these but they are expensive. You can make your own by putting a few thicknesses of painter's tape on the diagonal of a regular ruler. It works just fine.

I finished my table runner in time for Christmas. You can't see the whole thing but there is a tree on both sides. It's a Cut Loose pattern. I made mine larger, 6.5 in blocks instead of 4.5 in.

I don't have starch buildup anymore since I follow this method. Spray the wrong side of the fabric. Let it dry, never iron wet a little damp if you want but not wet. Iron on the right side.

The weight is excellent use a can of whatever if you don't have anything else or a jar of sand, Quilter's select is excellent, Frosted Olfa are really good, suction handles help a lot.
