I agree! Use Invisafil by Wonderfil. I'd use a gray. It will pretty much take on the color of the fabric. I use in both top and bobbin.

Thanks everyone. A similar quilt is displayed at Ma's Got a Notion in Havana, Illinois. The pattern is all theirs. After looking at it there for a couple of years, I finally got mine done.

Flannel Nine Patch

This is a flannel nine patch, batted with wool, quilted on the diagonal and tied in the center of each block. It is a great soft and warm lap quilt.
