sometime I have a certain fabric I want to use, So I get out that fabric. Measure. Then look at the patterns, and make sure you have enough of that fabric to use by the different patterns you have....

I found a "Silacone" spray at Hancock Fabrics. You sray it on a soft cloth and polish your sewing machine bed,around your throat plate. Buff until it is very slippery. Try this. Hope this is a help....
