I used poly, cause its supposed to be a pillow, also. I would add straps to the kids themed quillows for overnight bags, so they could carry their pj's in them.

The pink looks like a modified orange peel, I think your wedding ring edges are the 'correct' way they made them many years ago. I have one that my great grandmother made & its like that.

when my first grandson choked on one I'd made for him, he was ok but I learned my lesson. Seniors in nursing homes love to get lap blankets, Hospice also.
