I hate the washable markers and pencils! The markers dry out way too quick and the pencils always seem to lose their tips when sharpened. I never buy them anymore. I use Crayola washable markers.

Fleece as batting for quilts going to animal shelters is great! Remember that if you use it for the backing it's going to be covered in hair in no time. Probably not a good idea to do that.
