I work in a bakery and love doing cakes. The dipping an angled spatual or butter knife in hot water and smoothing the frosting works great! Keep it up. Doing cakes can be very fun and rewarding!!

I did use a walking foot which helped the fabric...
I did use a walking foot which helped the fabric move, but still happened. Wouldn't pressing it after spray basting mash down the padding inside?

Thanks! It was a 40% off any item coupon. But the thing is he didn't even look at the coupon so even if it was for an exact item they carry and Joann carries, he wouldn't have accepted it....
