    The little stars are 9 patches made with 2"...

    The little stars are 9 patches made with 2" squares. The larger stars are a 9 patch block constucted of 4-patch units and a center square of 3.5".

    the basic block is a 4-patch. I filled in around the small stars with single patches. I did the quilt in 12 panels trying to mix up the big and small stars.

    postage stamp type quilt.

    took this top off the wall today so I could move on to other things. may add borders, but that will have to wait until I add frame extension. Squares finish at 1.5", about 2600 hundred pieces at this...
