I don't think so. I have 2 FWs and they both have a black square case, not curved wood. Earlier machines are attached to the wooden cases with the curved tops. FW are stand-alone machines.

Yes, that is my "Ruby Jewel". I just got her on Friday. She is a little beauty from 1947 and sews wonderfully. I have been saving for a long time to get one. I'm partial to red :wink:

What a great find, even if the motor is shot. You can always find after market replacement motors for the FW if you don't want to buy an original. I bought a replacement motor on ebay years ago...
