I don't think so. I have 2 FWs and they both have a black square case, not curved wood. Earlier machines are attached to the wooden cases with the curved tops. FW are stand-alone machines.

Yes, that is my "Ruby Jewel". I just got her on Friday. She is a little beauty from 1947 and sews wonderfully. I have been saving for a long time to get one. I'm partial to red :wink:
