I have found that if I LIFT my pressure foot...

I have found that if I LIFT my pressure foot BEFORE cutting it usually stays threaded. If I cut with the foot down it almost always comes undone.

I actually tried that once ! But I have VERY curious cats ! They have no interest in my thread as long as it is just sitting there quietly on the peg board, but let them see it moving into my machine...
