I was thinking of zip lock snack bags or sandwich bags. That's what I've used for many craft projects.

My biggest concern is that DGS will attempt to HELP Grammy! Not that he probably would...

So if the regular sewing machine oil loosens only the screw type parts after having had overnight to do the magic, I need to go after the joints, etc with the toothpick?

The base has now soaked in...
