I just finished cleaning out fuzz and I think food from my Universal machine, now am ready to oil and grease. But don't really know where to grease. Should I use just oil on everything but motor....

I think this one is a clone too. The tenison is on the front. It is in rough shape, been used a lot. Need to clean it up too.

This is the black clone I posted on another thead. The decals look a lot like Doghousemom's. Needs the cord fixed before I can check out if it sews. The hand wheel turns easily tho.

Thanks Joe, that sounds exactly like what my husband did. He tried to tell what he was doing, but that's not something I'm good at. I cleaned everything else up and that motor was on the Commander...

I would like to keep the motor if it still runs since it has the sears name on it. My husband is handy with electrical stuff, I think I going to try and get him to work on it. Thanks

I have a Commander that has some bare wires...

I have a Commander that has some bare wires coming from the motor, would those be very hard to redo? Otherwise, he's in great shape.
