Outside summers is the best. I sit on the porch and quilt or piece and it is so great to look up and see the birds or the kids playing. I love it.

That is the reason I learned about people powered machines we were with out power for 2 weeks and I am sorry I just can't stand to not sew for that long. Tada treadle sewing... Sorry ladies you just...

dd I love seeing that you tied your quilt, all of the quilts my grandmother made were tied it wasn't until I started quilting that I learned there were other ways to finish a top.
