Has Anyone every heard of a treadle machine called "El Dorado"? I picked it up today. I looks a lot like my WW9 but a little different. Ill take pictures when I get a chance.

Well, It is the cutest little Sewing Machine. It is a Montgomery Wards VS, but it has such a modern art deco style to it. It has a rotary motor. Not sure of its age or anything else, but its cute.

Yes, it will take a readily available needle and bobbins. It uses the class 66 bobbins and a 15 x 1 needle, which is the standard needle with one flat side and rounded on the other.

I have two of the 201 machines and I LOVE them to sew on. They run so quiet, make a nice straight stitch and I love the drop in bobbin.
