The sashing was 2" finished width around each...

The sashing was 2" finished width around each block, I believe. The outer sashing around the body of the quilt started at 3"black, then 2" assorted strips, 3" black repeated, 1.5" of gold abstract....

This quilt was a combination of individual FPP blocks from the internet & then many of them were from Carol Doak's book "Mariner's Compass". Some blocks are duplicates of ones that I really enjoyed...

Thanks for the kind words everyone! I'm really pleased with this one, and so far I think it will stay at home with me! I've already done quilts for my sons/daughter-in-laws, and each grandchild! lol
