I'm thinking of using the gold fabric that's in every block for the first border, making it the same width as the strips in the blocks, then a wider border of the blue flowered fabric and binding it...

I have this top together and need to decide on the borders. I'm making it a queen size. Do you think the flower fabric accent for one of the borders is too weird? I was planning on a thin border next...
