I cut a 3" border for the 5" squares. I would say as a general rule, to take the diagonal measurement and cut your border half of that. Correct me if I am wrong, please. I think I cut a 5" border...

If you people would do a SEARCH of "Twister Tutorial" or just "Twister" you will see more info than you can watch in a day. This was covered quite thoroughly last winter or early spring.

Why don't you just make your own out of plexiglass? I made mine that way, way cheaper than the readymade ones. You can buy the sticky plastic feet at the dollar store to hold it up off the fabric...
