    If you look closely at the quilt top, the pattern had the nine patches at the top and bottom of the quilt trimmed to fit the centre, I didn't like the look of chopped off squares so added the strip...

    No it was pieced using 2 1/2 inch strips, so easy to do. The hardest part was sorting the fabric into lights and darks, as some of them were in the medium range
