I don't think it dessolves when it is washed, but no it won't have a crinkly feeling or sound as it is a real soft interfacing. It is non woven and it is pretty strong too. Have a great day Huggies,...

There are lines where you fold it to the 1/4 seam allwance and then you stitch it and that is that easy. I had the same question and when I got my pattern it was amazed at how the lone star came...

I didn't have any trouble quilting mine. I know of a lady who took out the interfacing, how I don't know as that stuff really doesn't tear that easy. It's not cheating at all as you still are...

I made the lone star with the quiltsmart pattern....
I made the lone star with the quiltsmart pattern. Note my avatar. It is a twin and they give instructions for the queen and king size also. Mine is a 58" star. Have a great day, Huggies, Fay
