You have to actually change the file...convert it...not just change the name from PES to JEF. Your machine won't read a PES file, so changing the name won't do anything. You will need a file...

I bought the Singer with the multihoop capcity..you can literally quilt 4 times the area by rehooping...not for the beginner,,,took me several tries till i got it, but i can embroider out a huge area...

The other poster is correct, the Singer can use just about any other maker's file format. The Singer machine file format is .XXX , but the newest machines also use .FHE (Futura Home Embroidery).
