I used my Clover mini iron for the first time...

I used my Clover mini iron for the first time w/this quilt and found that it got very hot and worked well. Just be careful how it is secured because I got a burn when I grabbed it before it fell off...

I am not using a hoop but I am a newbie to this so maybe I should have used a hoop. My applique backing is a hite linen and I did not want to get any rub marks on it.

When I just did my airplane applique I used the freezer paper method and painted starch around my turned edges. Its a liquid called " Stiffy", no really !. Great stuff. After pressing over the edges...
