This is what happens when you make a mistake by not sewing the followed corners...but I like it ..make a pouch like box as the corners hold up the sides. Might use on a dresser for treasures :)....

With narrow sides to use when traveling to use as tray for valuables over
night in hotel rooms -- easier to be sure nothing...

I have seen these. They were shallow with Velco on the inside corners so they would lay flat in your suitcase :)
