Thanks Elle, Hmmm...I've used both of the greens, but I think the pieces were smaller than these, so you couldn't really see the pattern. These feel so funny being 10" instead of 7"!

It didn't work for me just using the pins Rox...I had to draw the shape on the applique piece so that I could pin the exact points together. Things tend to get a little difficult for me sometimes...

When I'm sewing along, tucking the allowance under with my needle..I will get to the end and all of the allowance is then over to the left side of the tip...Then I take the pointy end and fold it...

Mousie, I'm not an expert by any means but I have found that the setting for "scenery- floral" is what makes the best pics for me. To take the best pics, I use daylight from the window or take them...

It is to me when doing applique...but sometimes, its the best way to go! I'm learning to be slightly careful about what pieces I'm using it for on the blocks though.

I think your points look great Elle....I've found that I am better or worse depending on the type of fabric I'm using. I'm getting pretty darn good, if I'm using batiks! Regular slightly bulky...
