My ironing station is set up kind of like a desk...

My ironing station is set up kind of like a desk in my living room. It has a wide, formica clad shelf on top of it, which I covered with two large, old bath towels and a piece of striped upholstery...

I use the cheapest one that Walmart has on sale. I tend to knock irons to the floor, and have discovered that's not good for them. It works just fine - until I knock it over.
