If you get into doing bigger rugs or what to use burlap you will want to use a frame. My mom had a rug hooking frame that she no longer uses. I went to Lowes and bought carpet gripers - 3 long pieces...

361557Another rug in the making...this is really a great way to use up left over strips...it does take a lot of fabric. I brought my cat to the vet and well sitting there waiting...was able to work...

I would love to see some pictures of your projects. I am really enjoying locker hooking an it a great way to get rid of some fabric that I will not be using in other projects.
