if your making several different blocks then do...

if your making several different blocks then do them seperate then put together as any other quilt....for a big quilt you still have to piece the background bc you can't get fabric that wide...so...

oh i took those stitches out and made them 1/2...

i was wondering about that...i think its just habit for me bc i like lots of quilting....but the book did say traditional is 1/2 inch to 1 inch apart on the quilting...your right i think i will be...
