Interesting Marybeth. The floral fabric is one of my thrift store finds. I didn't know what I was going to do with it either when I bought it. But it was bright and bold, so it came home with me.

Merciful me. You all are making me feel so guilty because I have not sewn my block together. I am pulling myself out of the caboose (found the wine stash!!!) and will be sewing that block together...

The last fabric is supposed to be the focus fabric, as I remember. Go with your instincts on your color choice. Looks good to me as is.
