There is not a JA number on this machine. Lightly embossed on the casting underneath is a Large "V" with a smaller "T" it.

Dan. Nice 12 under all of that dark gunk. Likely 100+ years of dried whale oil varnish. Always think positive, that gunk prevented rust.

This is one of my favorite machines. Serial number A30515, JA-54. The machine bed is stamped with JC-21 and B.I.C. The motor is made by Quality Sewing Machine Motors, 115 Volts/105 Watts.

1952 Deluxe
This sewing machine is a very "Plain Jane". No JA number on it, serial number Z3303587. Motor is a Sew-Rite, 1.2 amps, 1/4 HP. She needs a complete re-wire and case repair as she did not travel well.

Wizard Sewing Machine, Model 40
Precision Deluxe Built, manufactured by Brother, no JA number on this one, serial number 67994 is embossed on the bed lip. The motor is made by Sovereign, 1/15 HP, 1.2 Amp, 115 V.
