The long-arm quilter I use says her machine loves minky. I've seen that some people use double-sided minky as a combo-batting/backing because of the softness and thickness. Hope that helps.

No fabric purchases for me in June. I bought some thread while it was on sale and shouldn't have to buy any of that again for a VERY long time. I accepted gift fabric from a friend though.

Hmm, interesting. I guess I've always considered "blenders" as neutrals, solids, or backgrounds. I think of blenders as multi-colored prints that incorporated the rest of the print colors together...
