Interesting that you say P+G ... as the package that I have for Colour Catchers shows it as a product from S.C. Johnson out of Brantford, Ontario. I did phone the 1-800# on the package, and didn't...

Were you wanting the loose dye to keep re-dyeing your quilt? and any of the other fabrics in the quilt? Looks like SCC did the job it was intended to do.

I see it as a "Quality Control" .... Retayne is not foolproof. Believe me, I know, as I have treated with such ... and still had it bleed out.

I'd sooner know before I sew with it.

Woolite is in Canada, and I'll keep my eye open for Dye Magnet but I'm sure that it is not in Canada, or I would have seen it as I have been checking every shelf in every store for first Colour...

I did manage to get one box of the Shout Colour Catchers before they quit selling them here in Canada. So far I think Dr. Beckmann's...
