Just take a pen and paper and do your calculations as you play with it.

One jelly roll is normally 40 strips ... so those 40 strips @ 40 inches give you 1600 ....as in Jelly Roll Race 1600 x 2"...

I hope that you are happy as that fabric was just too beautiful for it to not turn out.
