I'm not sure what they used in that Pinterest quilt but I was thinking I could either find fabric that had the Pooh images & fussy cut & then applique them on or make my own characters & applique...

Very cute quilt, Thimblebug. nanacc, that's a great idea for the applique. I thought I might have to buy fabric & fussy cut around Pooh, Tiger, etc.
