Yes most are doing other things, but you only need make one block a day. the schedule is 3 or 4 blocks a week and every 6th week we have free to make corrections or just do our own thing.

Here is what I tried out today, feel quite happy about this as the sashing is not too wide so doesnīt detract from the blocks
