I add sugar to my serving, also. My family just groans when I do that.

For many dishes made with tomatoes, if one adds the same amount of sugar as salt, it enhances the flavor.

Goulash - what is in it?

What we call "goulash" contains this:
macaroni, ground beef, onions, green peppers, celery, tomatoes, and kidney beans - plus seasonings.

What is in what you call "goulash"?
