Ghostrider thanks for the headsup on the steam2seam. Ihaven't used it myself but read adds about it. I usually use Heat&Bond lite for my appliques and can sew thru it and doesn't gum up needles.

Seam 2 Seam has a light fusible so does Wonder Under. If your applique is made with big pieces I've even used fusible interfacing sewn on wrong side together. Then make a slit in back turn and iron...
