    Personally, I think that is way too much for such an old machine. I am not familiar with that particular machine, however. You might call a Janome dealer and ask their advice.

    I LOVE my Janome 6500 and 6600. I have had no trouble that was not operator error, and only one or two of those. As with any machine, I have to keep it clean and oiled at the one wick that it has....
