I did just that, used thinned down fabric paint...

I did just that, used thinned down fabric paint and a brush. Super simple to do and you can get such fun results!!!

I use fabric paint that has been watered down so the background fabric still shows through. It worked out great!!

"Radiance"

This is a little watercolor quilt that I will be donating to our church for their bazaar next weekend. I painted the feathers with a new technique called "whitewashing".
