if drawer is deep, put small boxes as dividers....

if drawer is deep, put small boxes as dividers. silverware or office supply trays fit above more seldom used items. Make 2 layers. Lots can go in there. i use candy boxes.

Instead of bucket, pick up a plastic 3 drawer ...

Instead of bucket, pick up a plastic 3 drawer unit. same space but easier to find what looking for.
