By 'throw' I guess I was thinking if the length of the belt were shorter (because the wood top wasn't as thick) that the treadle action might be impeded. I guess another way to...

I'd like Singer treadle info & a measurement please...........

I've got a couple of treadle iron bases around here. I want to use the Singer base I have and make a 'top' for it to install my Singer 66.

Can someone take a photo of the underside (pointing up)...
