Somehow that intrigues me!

Have you ever looked into just a smooth-bottomed presser foot? That would at least negate the walking motion....... it would still be 'hopping' but not walking. ...

If you'd want to get REALLY ambitious, you could figure out how to re-hab my Singer 29-4 with a M size bobbin, delete the walking foot, hab up a hopping foot for it and then electrify it so I can use...

I need a front slide plate for a Singer VS2 - but - how in the world would we figure out size-wise what we'd need?

My VS is a fiddle base...
