GGal your block came up and "Oooh" was my initial reaction and then I read the posts and they all have the same reaction--The aqua draws you into the center and then bursts (a perfect word for it)...

Actually GGal , the "Y" seam in the NStar is a very lazy "Y" and not as difficult to sew, but sewglad you have some substitute choices. :shock:

"Y" not too fussy? It's a great block too! The brown you used is a wonderful piece showing lots of movement to complement the movement in the horses. Fabric choices in NY are top as well.

Thanks Honchey! We've all said it before how the fabric selection changes the look of a block. Yes and that red is such a beautiful fabric to sew on as well.
