Like I said, check the axle on the dual pulley....
Like I said, check the axle on the dual pulley. Dried grease there was causing my handwheel to be very stiff.

The handwheel was REALLY hard to turn on one of my Kenmores. When you get the side off, look at the dual pulley for the belts. Mine had dried grease on the end where the shaft turns. After I cleaned...
