So so glad you went to the doctor.....it just sounded too nasty not to follow up on. Keep an eye on it as it heals and don't hesitate to go back if you notice anything unusual. Wishing you well !!!!!

Sorry - but i have to agree with the crowd....have the doctor look. Puncture wounds are the most likely to get infected because "germs" get pushed down inside - and also they take the longest to...
