Finally got the topper finished! And I quilted...

Finally got the topper finished! And I quilted it on the new 8900! I couldn't get it all in one pic, so I shot the left side, then the right side. I'm sending it to my daughter in AZ for a late...

Pam, was that Carol Ann Waugh, by any chance? She's the only Carol that taught classes. And yes, I think there was a Dana there. this was the cruise out of New Orleans on the Navigator.

I didn't take a pic of the second set, but mine are done. I cut squares from A, cut them apart, then took apart the pieces I'd sewn from B & C, then resewed the A pieces to C. The B pieces went in...

I have an easier way to make those pesky 1/2 square triangles. I use the tube method. I cut a 3" strip of each fabric, put them right sides together, then sewed down each long side using a 1/4"...

If you can find MS-Paint on your Windows 8 computer, you can use that for resizing photos, as long as they're in JPG format. That's what I use, but I'm using Win 7. Hubby says it's in Accessories.
