Thanks. The bobbin winder is on the cabinet in the front right corner. I'm hoping that putting the belt in the right place will help. It was so weird to see the belt smoking....:shock: ....white...

I am trying to help an elderly lady get her Singer 31-15 machine going and she thought it might need a new belt. It's an odd machine....sort of like a treadle but also electrified. I would love to...
