I have another question. If anyone wants to sign the quilt after it has already been quilted and bound then is that ok as long as you still heat set it with an iron?

Thanks, everyone. I did heatset before washing. I'm making the small quilt sample right now, so I guess we'll see how it goes this time 'round. If it doesn't work then I guess I'll be embroidering...
