So, I know for a fact I'll be in Billings around the 19th of August... Wanna all 3 of us (plus the Midget... and the men, too) meet for Olive Garden and fabric oogling?
Well, I just finished quilting my "item" on The Six (long-arm). I am still not used to every thread requiring different tensions and I think I need a house elf to just take care of that part for me...
It's ready to go on The Six... it's about 46" square now. Hopefully I can get it on & off again tomorrow before the 8 year olds descend on the house for a sleep over.
I live about 6 hours from the border of Wyoming. AND, if I remember correctly, it's only about another hour, hour & half to where Jan is.
Just sayin'.
You have mine pictured in #1377. It is the 6th set of pictures from the top, on the left.

Here is a little preview of what I'm working on for my partner... never fear, there is MUCH more left to finish!
Evelyn, I forgot to post the rows you sent. Sorry about that! I will get on that tomorrow, promise.
I've never heard of it. I use Best Press.
I'm trying to remember. The brown/tan print set I got a few weeks ago. The set I posted along with it (kind of looks like a pin wheel) is purples and then the light color on the outside is a blue...
I just want to throw this out here in case you've finished making blocks and are <gasp!!! style="color: rgb(54, 47, 45); line-height: 20px; background-color: rgb(252, 250, 240);">bored! Tracibug is...
I pimped the swap on the Pacific Boomerang group... lots of us in there are saying we're bored because our blocks are all sewn!
I just want to throw this out here in case you've finished making blocks and are <gasp!!!> bored! Tracibug is hosting a batik block swap and blocks aren't due until 7/31. Come join us and keep...
Yes, they did. I haven't opened the package yet. I will do so & post pictures tomorrow.
Do you mean English paper piecing or foundation paper piecing? I've never tried the first despite having bought 150 each of hexagon and diamond plastic forms. If you mean foundation, make sure you...
Lisa, the DIVA quilt is on it's way today. Here's the code for USPS tracking: 9405 9036 9930 0086 5448 77
Nina, take your time. Family stuff happens and we all understand. Stay strong.
No problem! I "saved" yours for last because I could NOT come up with an idea for it for the longest time.
Ok it should be arriving on Monday by USPS.
I am showing that I mailed a block out to you on 4/8. It had two 4-patches in your F8 and yellow, and then the other 2 blocks were fussy-cut medallions on brown.
Here are the two sets:

Sure. Paula, I never did get Melinda's stuff out to you. I will put it in the mail by tomorrow.
That is #1 on my calendar for tomorrow. I'm hoping I can get it in the mail Friday, latest on Saturday. The end of the semester came rolling in like a tornado and I was caught a bit unawares.
I'm just going to throw this out here... I've got a long arm, the semester ends this weekend, and I don't think a one of you has anything that will take longer than an hour for me to deal with.
I went shopping today... I'm planning to use an inspiration from Pinterest for my item. It's going to include a brand new to me technique.
A question for you all: other than a 4-patch and a...
