I've used dark maroon on two of these....not so severe and worked really well.
Yes, I learned it back in the 50's in Girl Scouts.
I tried it and the only thing it did was to collect copius amounts of lint and then I had a devil of a time getting it and the lint off my ruler.
Love those little purple scissors from CT.....I have them everywhere and even give them away as a little something extra with 'quilty' gifts.
We paid over $1000 for my Koala outback over 10 years ago as a floor model closeout. I cannot imagine my sewing life without it.. It has been well worth every nickel.
I finally figured out that my problem is the mat....I had cut in the same spot so many times that the fabric was pushing down in there and the blade couldn't cut it. Try turning your mat around to an...

Got my brother at Costco and I love it... everything I needed.
I use Handi-Tak (check for it on google) on the underside of my mats, etc to hold them in place. It comes off very easily if I need to move it and it doesn't leave a mess.... It's the same stuff I...
Very attractive way to finish the quilt and cut down on the scraps too....I do this quite often when nothing seems to work for binding.
Thank you..... ;-)
Yes, I would like to know also.....
Good thread, good fabric, great customer service..... and a group of us combine our orders for free shipping.
The walking foot is not listed in the specs for the refurbished one...
FYI .....I bought a Brother XR-7700 from Costco for $139 with free shipping. It's lightweight and comes with all the bells and whistles including a walking foot. I'm very happy with it and it...
They don't make a straight stitch plate for all Brother machines..... ask me how I know. Even down to sending an email to Brother to complain about it. Why make a machine set up for quilting (even...
