I have lots of those cd containers and use them for everything. One of the things...I have entire series of movies and episodes and I put the collection in the empty cd holder and lable them. I use them for water buckets when I am painting or put sewing stuff in etc...I like to find a use for stuff.

When I saw the video of the spinning spindle, I got the idea lol.....you could put several narrow ribbons on the spindle and roll off what you need and cover them with cover to keep the dust off....

I turn them upside down and used them for sewing machine parts, but then I have to take the spindle off to use the cover....
