No pattern. First, I used only one-half of the two yards of fabric I bought because I wanted a small quilt/wall hanging so I didn't have too many blocks to work with. Once I laid them out in a size/ shape that I liked, I just cut half hexagons to fill in the empty spaces to create a rectangle quilt. You cut strips, then cut them into trapezoids of the size that match the size of your OBW half blocks. (You don't sew the hexagons together but rather sew the rows of half hexagons together, eliminating the need to sew Y seams.)
